Building a Modern Roofing Website with VIBE Coding

Some projects stand out not because they are flashy, but because everything just works together in the way it should. This was one of those builds.

On the surface, the brief sounded straightforward. Build a brand new website for a local roofing company. Modernise the look and feel. Make it ready for AI. Set the business apart from competitors who were still relying on dated WordPress themes and slow, inflexible setups. Underneath that, the real requirement was more ambitious. The site needed to act as a growth platform, not just an online brochure.

Roofing is a competitive industry. Many businesses offer similar services, similar pricing, and very similar looking websites. This client wanted to break away from that pattern and create something that genuinely reflected the quality and professionalism of their work.

The website needed to modernise the brand visually while clearly promoting services, educating prospects, supporting local SEO properly, integrating with real business tools, and remaining easy to update and expand over time. This was never about building something pretty and moving on. It was about creating a platform the business could grow into.

The entire project was built using our VIBE coding approach, delivered on Replit.

Traditionally, a project like this would involve a web designer, a developer, a WordPress setup, a stack of plugins, ongoing maintenance, and a fair amount of compromise. Timelines stretch, costs creep up, and integrations slowly become fragile. VIBE coding flips that model completely.

By working in a modern, modular codebase inside Replit, we were able to design, build, and integrate everything in one cohesive environment. There was no plugin sprawl, no bloated themes, and no fighting against platform limitations. The result was a faster build, cleaner architecture, and a site that is genuinely future ready.

What we delivered was a website where every element had a clear purpose. Embedded videos were used to showcase the business, explain services, and build trust. Real photography from completed roofing projects runs throughout the site, giving it authenticity and local credibility rather than relying on stock imagery.

A scrolling Google reviews widget was added at key points to reinforce social proof as visitors move through the site. WhatsApp integration allows prospects to get in touch instantly, which is especially important for urgent roofing enquiries where speed matters.

Local SEO was treated as a core part of the build, not an afterthought. We worked alongside a local SEO specialist from the very beginning, ensuring the site structure, metadata, keywords, and schema were implemented properly from day one. The result is a website designed to rank, not just exist.

A full Knowledge Centre was built into the site to educate prospects and customers while supporting long term SEO. This gives the business a place to publish helpful, relevant content consistently and build authority over time.

Contact forms were integrated directly into the client’s CRM system, triggering notifications and automation automatically. No manual chasing and no lost enquiries. We also added a three day weather forecast, a small detail that makes a real difference in the roofing industry, helping customers understand how conditions affect scheduling and planning.

Accreditations and awards were built directly into the design and linked to social platforms, reinforcing trust and legitimacy without cluttering the interface.

The entire project was completed in three months. That includes planning, design, development, integrations, SEO collaboration, and launch. For a site of this depth, that is fast, and it was achieved not by cutting corners, but by removing friction.

We were not fighting against a CMS that was never designed for this level of integration. We were not stacking plugins and hoping they behaved. Everything was intentional, integrated properly, and built to be expanded safely as the business grows.

Compared to a traditional WordPress build, the difference is significant. A typical setup would rely on a premium theme that only partly fits the brief, multiple plugins for SEO, forms, CRM, performance, and security, ongoing maintenance to keep everything compatible, and slower performance as features accumulate. Costs often escalate over time, not just at the start.

This VIBE coded build delivered a custom, modern platform at a sensible price point, with far more flexibility and longevity. The client now owns a system they can grow with, not something they will need to replace in a couple of years.

One of the most important parts of this project is what comes next. The site is AI ready. It can support future automation, smarter content, deeper integrations, and new tools as the business evolves. New services can be added, the Knowledge Centre can expand, and integrations can be extended without rebuilding from scratch.

This is what we mean when we talk about building platforms, not just websites.

The finished site looks modern, confident, and professional. It reflects the quality of the work the business delivers in the real world, supports enquiry generation, educates customers, and underpins long term growth.

This project is a clear example of what is possible when clear strategy, modern tooling, and VIBE coding come together.
